I'm curious as to the extent of resources available in this cutting edge field of innovative development that would help guide a large company through such an enormous shift in how they function. As the article states, the mechanical, hierachical systems currently in place are "lumbering dinosaurs", and dinosaurs are not easily displaced. Are there standardized Scrum-certifying bodies (thinking along the lines of ISO, ITIL, etc.) that could help drive such a change? Or perhaps it is not practical to expect an entire organization could subscribe to this framework, but rather utilize it only in those areas best suited. I would be interested in seeing Best Practices in larger companies that have implemented this approach to development. Very interesting article, Tobias.
